Luminor Chrono

Produced for the first time in 1999, the Luminor Chrono model is a modern, highly technological watch, witness to the continuous development which Panerai carries out on materials, functions and design. Besides the 40 mm version in titanium and steel, a 44 mm model entirely in steel has been created.

The push-pieces for the chronograph functions are skillfully integrated between the device protecting the crown and the case, entirely consistent with the simplicity and linearity of the characteristic design of the historic Panerai Luminor watch.

• Movement: automatic mechanical, Panerai OP XII calibre, 13¼ lignes, 27 jewels. Glucydur® balance, 28,800 alternations/hour. Incabloc® anti-shock device. Power reserve 46 hours. Personalized PANERAI. Chronometer Certificate (C.O.S.C.).
  
• Functions: hours, minutes, small seconds. Chronograph with three counters, tachymeter scale.
  
• Case: diameter 44 mm, brushed steel. Brushed steel push-pieces for the chronograph functions integrated between the case and the device protecting the crown. Date corrector at 10 o'clock. Date adjuster supplied.
  
• Bezel: polished steel with engraved tachymeter scale.
  
• Back: screw, steel.
  
• Device protecting the crown: (registered Trade Mark) polished steel with brushed steel lever.
  
• Crystal: sapphire, formed of corundum, 2.5 mm thick. Anti-reflective coating.
  
• Water-resistance: 100 meters.
  
• Strap: alligator with PANERAI personalized adjustable clasp. Supplied with a steel screwdriver and a second interchangeable strap.

• Case: diameter 40 mm, brushed titanium. Rectangular brushed titanium push-pieces for the chronograph functions integrated into the device protecting the crown.
  
• Bezel: polished steel with engraved tachymeter scale.
  
• Back: see-through sapphire crystal.
  
• Device protecting the crown: (registered Trade Mark) polished steel with brushed titanium lever.
  
• Crystal: sapphire, formed of corundum, 3.7 mm thick. Anti-reflective coating.
  
• Water-resistance: 200 meters.
  
• Strap: alligator with PANERAI personalized adjustable clasp.
  
• Bracelet: links in brushed titanium and polished steel, each consisting of two parts overlapped and screwed.
