Luminor Base
Created in the early 1940s to meet the needs of the Italian Navy of a reliable watch, resistant and easily readable underwater, the Luminor watch still today keeps the original distinctive features.
It has the essential time-measuring functions (hours and minutes), and is equipped with a hand-wound mechanical movement transformed by Panerai according to the criteria of the Swiss watch making tradition and the quality standards of the brand. The Luminor is water-resistant to 300 meters but tested to 400 meters. It is equipped with a large size leather strap worked with artisanal care and supplied with a steel or titanium tongue buckle.
