Hi Richard,

Understanding the water resistance of a watch should not be rocket science. Furthermore, the majority of us will NEVER go deeper than 10M. What I'd really like to see is an explanation from the manufacturer in simple language what water related activities are acceptable for my watch. Is it suitable for diving? swimming? bathing? light rain or splashes from waching my hands? or should it be kept dry at all times? And finally, how often should the seals be serviced to maintain that capability. Answers to those questions would be infinitely more useful than a system based on atmospheres that can't even produce a concensus among people who talk abou watches as their avocation.

BTW, anyone from New England who doesn't switch all of their sports allegiances as soon as they move away, deserves any pain that is wrought upon them. :-)

Regards,

Jim
